The Women’s Development Cell, Kalindi College is an active forum that engages with fundamental and existential issues concerning gender. With actively involving all the members of the institution, primarily the students following the participatory model, WDC believes in the core values of equity and non discrimination. Its aim is to make students aware about gender pedagogy as well as to enhance their gender sensibilities. We work through direct engagement models like seminars, talks, film screening, workshops that are aimed at gender sensitization amongst the students, teaching and non teaching staff of the college. The Cell also acts as a nodal point of interaction for grievance addressal for issues concerning gender discrimination. It works in close interaction with the Delhi Police, National Commission for Women, Delhi Commission for Women, DCPCR and various other NGO's.

Currently the cell is working in collaboration with Maitrai Foundation, TTLS (Tera Tera Langar Society) and Nazariya Foundation.
